After what seemed like to me years of releases of its parts and complete success, SNK, the producers of Metal Slug, on its 10th anniversary, folded up all the seven parts of the game and presented the Metal Slug Anthology, it brings every major release in the time span of 10 years. The arcade version of the game is totally spellbinding, everything is there, the fight is there, the blood is there, the food is there and also, the naughty words are there. This game is an adventurous game with a lot of humor encapsulated in it, remember the times when you get more food, your character gets hopelessly fat and also his bullets get fatter than the usual guaranteeing more destructing and damaging.

While playing a game like Metal Slug Anthology, it is all in all a very good package for you only if you have purchased an arcade version, but there are shortcomings in Nintendo Wii version of the game. But there are several tastes of several gamers, many might like it, there is no unified opinion about the game, many players will consider the game as a waste of time and money. What I see in the game, is that it is the most amazing compilation of the arcade game in not a very good presentation but not very bad either.

Metal Slug Anthology is all in all a game of great joy. A union of seven previous games with hidden areas, mysteries, hidden areas and a lot of other things that are found only when you play the game. Music and the artwork and backgrounds are just amazing. His game is a great deal of fun, and the true fans of the series and the newbies would certainly enjoy the game.
